For Blue Eyes

We, here at the site are very sad to hear of Paul Newman*s passing. I was happy to learn of his great philanthropy efforts and success. Did you know that all of the profit from his own food company, Newman*s Own, went to charity? Another great one gone. *SDRoads and Crew

The Great Debate

As for the picture, they both seem to have a certain respect for one another. As for the debate, informational but not necessarily the real deal. Much much more on this later. I am soooo tired now. I stayed up much later than I thought I would. I should be up early for the Open House. At least That Seventies Show is on. Oh well, that's just the workaholic I am. Wink It's like I wrote, more on this story later. Stay tuned. -SDRoads

A Blissful Weekend

Well. I have to go. Have a great weekend everybody. I am sooooo sleepy now. I hope to get caught up, among other things, on much needed rest. I know, I know, it's not possible to makeup sleep, but it sure can feel like it! I hope you all take the greatest care of yourselves. ~SDRoads

Ari Meyers, Today and Yesterday

Hello Fellow Ari Meyers Fans.

Just a quick note I've added some videocaptures from Season 5 of Kate & Allie to Ari's Site.

The direct link is

http://arimeyers.com/season5a.html

Wish I had some news to share and current pictures to post but things continue to be slow. Ari is still recording audiobooks and trying to sell her "My Purpose Party" TV Show idea. Eventually She'll have a website about it at http://www.mypurposeparty.com/ but for now, there is just a "Coming Soon" notation on the main page.

If you have any material you'd like to contribute, as Joe recently did (see the What's New Page), please drop me a line.

Until next time,

Ode to the Candidates

With respect to Obama and McCain: Obama seems very regal and intelligent and on top of things; all good things. McCain seems all of those things but a step further, he seems caring. It really emits from him. I think he will do a good job for us. Again, I do haveto finish reading about what they each stand for, with respect to certain issues. But, by the time they are able to get to those issues, there term will be up and we will be looking to vote again. We all must also keep in mind that there are still other candidates running, no? To wrap this up, McCain to me seems like a very loyal man. I mean just look what he did for his men, mind, body, and soul, in the days that he was a POW (Prisoner of War). And that is my commentary.

Our Person of the Month

Here, at the news and entertainment center, we don't just celebrate the political figures of note, and the movie stars, like so many do. Here, we celebrate all people of all nations, creeds, religions, and dispositions. This is a nice lady, nicknamed The Little Red Haired Girl. She is a sweet and caring person, more than likely going to go far in this world, and beyond. She has a glowing spirit and personality, always bringing joy to someone. So, here's to you, Princess Victoria. Reign well over the upcoming month. You are our choice for Person of the Month for October 2008. God Bless. She's sugar and spice.

Something alarming.

It is interesting. I have been thinking of something on and off for awhile. The last couple of days I have really been thinking of it hard, investing time in it, and getting stressed over it, as well. Stressed almost to the point of depression in this time of possible national recession. Today, I noticed an add on here. I will write what it says because they revolve and you may not see it. It reads "Our Next President Whether it be Obama or McCain Threatens your Wealth. Free Report". It is an add by Google. This is so alarming. The one thing I need to find out is what each candidate feels about government assistance programs along with grants, but have not had the time to do it. Since I was elected on Monday, I will have to find the time. This information can prove most important. I have been elected as Assistant to the Secretary, or Assistant Secretary, for C.E.A.C. Now that is the council that reigns over Title I which deals with supplemental monies from the government to improve the progress of students who are struggling. It is considered a committee, as well, so that means I must be committed to attend a meeting every month, or at least, as one woman said, "try your best" to. I would have loved to have run for the title of officer that attends district meetings, but, I simply do not have the time, nor, adequate transportation, for that, at this time, and therefore, could not commit to that, or anything of that nature. I am an official member, but everyone, "has a voice". I want to pull this out further and reach out to numbers of people to help raise awareness to the general public with respect to all schools and the potential budget cuts, and the need for fundraising. As it was said in one of the meetings I have attended, "Somethings take a lot of parents." I want to extend that to somethings take a lot of people, and try to, as I wrote, at least raise the awareness here, through this site. And this will be to the benefit of students of all ages. There are some stifling budget cuts on the political horizon, and we must do all that we can to avoid that from happening. As one woman said, we all have a voice. I was told they need me on the PTA. I am considering joining. I think it is very important subject matter. This not only benefits students, and their educational futures, but, it also benefits the whole nation, for students are tomorrow's future for our great nation. I thank you for your time. -SDRoads, Administrator

One last thing here. I was very fortunate. I was running against a woman whom is outspoken and she can translate as well! I am grateful to God that I won the title. I will do my best. -SD

Tee Box Talk

While at the golf course last week, there was a lot of very interesting conversation. The first thing that comes to mind is the discussion of O.J. Simpson and my friend who startled HIM. LoL The next conversation was about the best golf equipment to use, then onto to children playing golf, then onto college and sport scholarships, and lastly, politics. This interesting and most curious statement was made by this wonderful gentleman my friend and I had met there and held discussion with for quite some time. I will never forget what he said. Amongst the talk of politics, he said, and I quote, "Obama will not win.", most assuredly. I wonder what he knows. Just in talking with him for those 20 minutes before went home to his wife, I could tell he was a man of knowledge. He seemed like he had a good head on his shoulders as well. I so wonder what it is that he knows. He did mention something about that, but I can not recall. But he said it with such conviction. Now, he let us know that his wife is an author and wrote (or is writing, forgive me for not knowing for you) a book about Obama. I think it was a tell-all type of book. Now, she may be part of the reason that he knows what he knows about Obama and his not going to win the election. Then again, there may be more reasons why he "knows" this. He had asked what my friend and I do, and, oh yeah, we also talked about religions and finding a good church home (Conversation does not get much better than what we shared with him. My friend and I were fortunate.). I told him about this site and what goes on here. He said he would have his wife comment on this site about Obama, to help get me out of hot water with a comment or two I had made. You see, I will never post something unless I have gotten information, unless, of course, it is commentary. What she would be able to comment about would help to verify anything I have written here about Obama, and, she has a publisher! That means to me, among other things, that there are some who have faith in what she says, and believe she just may be right, and find her information to share worthy to be published. I look forward to hearing from this intelligent lady here. I also hope they find a wonderful church home. With Sincerity, SD

McCain AND Obama

I found McCain to be very wise and brave by going against the grain, trailblazing, and asking for a delay in the debates. I don't feel he did it because he was behind Obama in votes at the time. I feel he did it from the heart. I thank you. And that is my commentary. -SDRoads

Child Safety Week Focuses on Car Seats

Every year hundreds of children lose their lives out on the road, but many of those deaths could have been prevented. KSWT News 13's Carissa Planalp reports

What? Meeee?

I was in an Election of my own. Just yesterday, I found I won the title! I will be getting more into this later, for it is so important for our schools and our children. A big thank you to the Lord that my chest cramps and pain finally went away. Wonderfully, my teacher gave me an Excuse for missing class. It took me 3 hours to get to school, for what should have been 10 minutes. A friend ended up taking me. It took another 30 for us to get from one end of the campus to the other! My friend was having a health issue at that moment, as well (the runs.... Ssshh!!!). He was to escourt me to class for my safety, but, it was more like me keeping a watch over him!! And, after all that, it comes to show that I had decided to leave my heavy heavy most heavy book and bag in the car. I couldn't have carried it. **Hi Jillian Jon. I promise to uphold my new position and to do all that I can for children everywhere, and our schools.** More things to come, such as the minutes and proposals. -SD/Mommy

McCain Trys To Delay

Obama likely to keep debate as McCain seeks delay. By BETH FOUHY, Associated Press Writer
20 minutes ago

NEW YORK - Republican presidential nominee John McCain challenged rival Barack Obama on Wednesday to suspend their heated campaign, postpone Friday's debate and work together to deal with the nation's financial troubles. Obama did not immediately respond to his rival's bold political move, but Obama campaign officials say the senator is inclined to move ahead with the debate.

McCain said the Bush administration's Wall Street bailout plan seemed headed for defeat and a bipartisan solution was urgently needed. The move was an effort by the Republican to claim leadership on an issue that has been troublesome for him at a time when his rival is moving ahead in the polls.

McCain said he would put politics aside and return to Washington Thursday to focus on the nation's financial problems after addressing former President Clinton's Global Initiative session in New York. McCain said he had spoken to President Bush and asked him to convene a leadership meeting in Washington that would include him and Obama.

"It has become clear that no consensus has developed to support the administration's proposal," McCain said. "I do not believe that the plan on the table will pass as it currently stands, and we are running out of time."

McCain said he has spoken to Obama about his plans and asked the Democratic presidential nominee to join him.

Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid issued a statement saying the debate should go on because "we need leadership, not a campaign photo op."

The University of Mississippi said it was going forward with preparation for the debate in Oxford. "We are ready to host the debate, and we expect the debate to occur as planned," the school said, adding that it had received no notification of any change in the timing or venue.

The Obama campaign said in a statement that Obama had called McCain around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday to propose that they issue a joint statement in support of a package to help fix the economy as soon as possible. McCain called back six hours later and agreed to the idea of the statement, the Obama campaign said. McCain's statement was issued to the media a few minutes later.

"We must meet as Americans, not as Democrats or Republicans, and we must meet until this crisis is resolved," McCain said. "I am confident that before the markets open on Monday we can achieve consensus on legislation that will stabilize our financial markets, protect taxpayers and homeowners, and earn the confidence of the American people. All we must do to achieve this is temporarily set politics aside, and I am committed to doing so."

McCain's statement was an effort to show leadership on an issue that has spread economic fears across the country and overshadowed the presidential campaign just six weeks from Election Day. The economy has not been McCain's strongest suit, and his move was an attempt to turn it into an opportunity to show he's the candidate of bipartisanship and action. Recent polls showed Obama with an advantage with voters in handling the economy.

The move put Obama in a bind. Rejecting the idea would allow McCain alone to appear above politics, but agreeing to suspend campaigning and the debate could make Obama look like he's following McCain's lead.

McCain said if Congress does not pass legislation to address the crisis, credit will dry up, people will no longer be able to buy homes, life savings will be at stake and businesses will not have enough money

"If we do not act, ever corner of our country will be impacted," McCain said. "We cannot allow this to happen."

McCain also canceled his planned appearance Wednesday on CBS' "Late Show With David Letterman" program.

A senior McCain adviser, Mark Salter, said the campaign would suspend all advertising and campaign events until a workable deal is reached on the bailout proposal — but only if the Obama campaign agrees to do the same.

BeeBee was a moderator over at JMK's site, specifically, for his forum section. By the way, I have something hilarious to report! My title reads as something to the effect of, not confusing JMK with JFK. And then, I went and did the very same thing! LoL I meant to write something like, I also focus on JFK and Marilyn Monroe here. Hence, the reason why I was quite interested in the web address (you?) left me. I also meant to post your informational lead, the web address, as a post here. I will next, if I can on this old relic of a computer (Windows 98). I mean, I also have to help my son with his homework and study for a test (really just a quiz, feels like a test) tonight myself. I am going to correct that JMK and JFK mistake on that other post... eventually, if you catch my drift. Wink Thanxx again, SD

Heya. Anyone looking for the stints on Obama? It's in there.

I have like 5 pages of material here. It's in the first 2, I believe. If you don't find it on the first page, just click on "older posts" at the bottom of the posting section, above the hit counter. Thanxx. -SD

Thanxx Anonymous #2. But, let's not confuse JMK with JFK

Just kidding. But seriously, the BeeBee I was referring to in that post is associated to the famous JMK, John Mark Karr. Still, I'd like to thank you for your input. Actually, that site you left on my comment section was, is, very insightful. So, thank you. It just so happens I also focus on JFK and Marilyn Monroe at this site. I will be getting heavier into that in the future.  Meanwhile, I still hope BeeBee is o.k. Even her e-mail address is no longer valid. Sincerely, SD By the way, that original rebozo comment wasn't comparable to sleeping with the fishes was it? Jk Ciao Ciao

Hey guys...

I wanted to leave you with one last thing before I go for the weekend. I got all of my lab work done on time, as well as homework, so I am living free and easy this weekend. The weekend is starting now, this Friday afternoon, for even the majority of the college closes early. So, while still at one of the labs at the campus, before heading off to pick up my youngest from elementary school, I wanted to post this. There are so many reasons for this post. But, those will not be shared. Here goes:

FRIENDSHIP

Friendship, to me, is understanding and forgiving, no matter what. It is not manipulating, secretive, one sided, nor lonely. Friendship takes two. Sometimes I feel people have done or said something to me that is hurtful. However, I also feel you can only be hurt if you let yourself be. Many times I have spoken up for myself, or, written up. But, there were many many times I did not. I just was forgiving. I forgave and forgot. I didn't mention it, and went on in the friendship like all was good for all was good. This is because I chose not to be hurt, and put it out of my mind, living peacefully with my friends, in heart, mind, body, and soul. But, sometimes the memories can come back when hurt again, especially by the same person, or, by the same nature. It is amazing to me that those who boast about how they have been hurt, or offended, etc., never once take the time to be a friend, a true friend, and say, "This is how I feel. Did you intend for this? Of course, perhaps you did not. What is your side of the story? Have I ever offended or hurt you? If so, I am sorry. I didn't mean to do that." That is Lesson 1 in Friendships, Making Them Last. Of course, that is not a class or a book, I just made it up. But, maybe it should be. It is most certainly a lesson in life, no? So, many that know me, or of me, may think that because I have been nice that I do not feel you have ever hurt me. That is not true. Sometimes I am amazed at what some do. I just try to focus on the positive. And that is my heart. -SDRoads
2008 (R)

Have a great weekend!

I hope it is blessed, joyful, restful, and filled with promise for everyone. I look forward to hearing from you all. ...... Oh, and hi Jeff. Wink With Love to all of you, SD and family, along with all the Associates here.

It's a homerun!!!

As for the latest posts of my defense... Hey, what do you expect? I am Italian, Irish, English, and a Scorpio!! Wink

Well, it's Friday. I am glad I got this all out of the way before the weekend so that the site can run smoothly, and peacefully, for it's intended purpose come Monday. And, read on. A lot of the previous postings have been updated. Thank you all for reading. -SDRoads, Administrator Peace Out y'all.

A big thank you to all of the kind and supportive viewers.

You are all most appreciated. This is supposed to be a happy site, the place to sit back and relax and get caught up on just about everything. I mean, we do have a lot of mighty fine links here. I won't let any of the naysayers bring us down! -SDRoads

For the guy who wrote I wouldn't be responding to all of this...

Sir, I think YOU need to get your facts straight! Where would you get that (hideous so-called fact) from??? Hmmm? That's just weird. I have always been the responding type here, and have always been welcoming and warm to the viewers, most obviously so. And it can all be proven thanks to the Auto Save Feature and post and submit options. Strangely, though, the autosave and posting time feature have been malfunctioning the last couple of days. It puts all posts posted at the same time, each day. which, is a physical impossibility, realistically. Hey, I started responding, yet again, the moment after I read that... stuff, those comments. But, that's just what I do. I don't mind differing opinions, but I won't be disrespected, nor will I allow my family or Associates here to be. I embrace differing opinions. I don't mind debate. I think it makes life interesting. Always have. Like John Mark Karr wrote, Disrespect will not be tolerated. -SDRoads

And for the guy who commented to me to "get (my) facts straight"...

In that particular posting you were responding to, sir, I was not the one compiling the facts, nor was I the one writing them. Again, I was just simply sharing an interesting article. No harm, no foul. It's all good. -SDRoads

And for the guy who wrote that I need to figure out what a blog is supposed to be for...

Well... let's just say I am kind of on the money. Here ya go:

dictionary results for: blog
Webster's New Millennium™ Dictionary of English - Cite This Source - Share This Main Entry: blog
Part of Speech: n
Definition: an online diary; a personal chronological log of thoughts published on a Web page; also called Weblog, Web log
Example: Typically updated daily, blogs often reflect the personality of the author.
(From:http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/blog)

I use more of this: a personal chronological log of thoughts published on a Web page than this: an online diary. But, it's all good. And, there is nothing wrong with being enterprising and expanding upon something good. Plus, if you were to really look into what this site is really about, and who it is for, you would see that this is used for the general intended purpose. And that is my defense. -SDRoads

SideNote: This site facilitor for B (G, Google) blogger offers so many options, they almost embrace the blogs to be more than the typical idea of blog. They offer for one to even get out of the blog mentality, if you will, here, in the form of allowing users to change a most crucial part of their web address, all the while maintaining the same site. I like for my site to be much more than one dimensional. And there's nothing wrong with that. So, back off, playa haters! LoL I get that from the Pasta Dude.... A most disturbing commercial, actually. -SD

Sometimes, it's all about the rhetoric.

Sometimes, it's all about the rhetoric here, in the occasional form of a commentary. That commentary is not considered "news", as I had been informed of quite the opposite, most recently, nor has it ever been. This site incorporates many facets in the form of segments, etc. Sometimes, here at the site, eye openers will be used in the form of comic relief, as well, particularly political comic relief. Hey, they fxxxxd with us enough, no? The main objective here is to look at the big picture. And as far as that bit of people using me (in the form of near brainwashing?) to get the word out that Obama is a Muslim, well, let's just say, I am a lot stronger than that, and am an independent thinker. Why, I didn't even know that that was going on. There is only so much information a human can take in each day, and that is one thing I had not heard of yet. So, suffice it to say, no one used me. Thanxx for the concern??? I don't think it was concern, but, I digress. Again, all of my commentary comes from hours, sometimes years, of research, investigating, and field work, in the form of interviewing and/or questioning people. Some of my sources must remain anonymous. Just remember big picture, big picture, big picture. I mean, you can't really focus on the smaller and most important issues if you are not taking it all in and looking at the overall picture. For example, you can't really have a true picnic if you don't have the grass and blanket to sit on, nor the basket o' food! I just want to get this out there, and set the record straight. And that is my commentary. Good day! -SDRoads

"Sarcasm
Rhetorical use of language which is intended to ridicule. Sarcasm is similar to irony, but is more intense and is negative in its impact, whereas irony is not always intended to be negative:
Elijah was sarcastic to the prophets of Baal:

1 Kings 18.27 About noontime Elijah began mocking them. "You'll have to shout louder," he scoffed, "for surely he is a god! Perhaps he is deep in thought, or he is relieving himself. Or maybe he is away on a trip, or he is asleep and needs to be wakened!" (NLT)

The intended sarcasm will often not be preserved if the original is translated literally. In such cases the translator may need to include some clues, as the NLT translators have done with the words "mocking" and "scoffed", to indicate that something is meant to be sarcastic."

In Defense of Sarcasm
Posted by M. Jordan Lichens under Blogging, Blogroll, Catholic

Myself and many, many of my friends are often called to task for using sarcasm as a means of argument and response in the blogosphere, typically by someone calling it uncharitable and quit ungodly to use a sarcastic tone in response to some of the modern madness that exists on the internet. I suppose that while charity is required of Catholics, I never once found an instance in the Bible or the writings of the Apostolic Fathers where one was chastised for usuing sarcasm. In face, one reading of God’s conversation with Job, the writings of St. Irenaeus, or the Letter to Diognetus to realize that what we call sarcasm is often used as a powerful rhetorical tool to tear down an opponents argument in order to start the conversation on solid ground.

I myself have been told that my sarcasm demonstrates that I don’t take my opponet seriously. I suppose in the case of sedevacantists and Lefebvrites it may be true that I put little stock in their arguments, but on the whole sarcasm is only a rhetorical tool used to point out the strangeness of some arguments. When my friends used to tell me that Catholics believe that the Pope is above sin when he sits in a special chair (a more common statement than I like to admit) I may either refute the statement with careful argument and polite chatter or respond, “Yes, we in the Catholic Church possess a magical chair that does far more than give the power of perfection.” The latter response is shocking and quite sarcastic, but my interlocutor is able to reflect on how strange a statement he truly made and we may start on solid ground to have a real dialog.

The Study Guide~ With Benefits

By: Xxxxxxx Xxxxxxx

From: College Survival
A~Do~It~Yourself Guide
Second Edition, by Elwood N. Chapman, 1981,1974

From: To The Student
Quote: To Begin With~ "Some educators say there has never been a better time to go to college. Because of declining enrollments, every student is wanted. 'Student retention' has become a key phrase on most campuses."

Comment: That was the seventies. This is a new decade. There were so many good things in this book that I wanted to incorporate information from several chapters into this requested study guide.

From: College: Who Needs It?, Chapter 2
Quote: "It seems to me that it is better to be a successful plumber than a Ph.D. without a job." ~ A negative familiar quote, it appears.
Questions: Has inflation put the goal of college and a higher education on the back burner? In reading, I had begun noticing a theme there, and near sadly, that theme revolves around money. By the way, food for thought; Does the educational system need to lower it’s prices? Yes, I wrote prices. Seems to me there is a big difference between "cost" and "price". You can look for the deeper meaning there. But, I digress. I mean, really, this should be a study guide, no?

To sum things up in a HUGE walnut shell; Basically, college can give you, offer, rather, what you need to succeed in every capacity of life. Heck, sometimes they even have Christian groups there! I would write; Know what you want, and go after it. But, instead, I will write; Know what you want, and figure out the best, most resourceful way of going after it.

From Self-Motivation, Chapter 4
Quotes: "As a beginning college student, you will be shocked to learn that you can't expect others to motivate you. A few inspirational professors and considerate advisers will encourage you, but, motivation is a do-it-yourself project." And, along those lines, as Dr. Gold, our Professor, has said, "Set your own goals. No one will tell you you should take certain classes here. Establish your own plan... High School counselors tell you what to take and sign you up for classes. (In) college... we don't tell you what to take." Again, it is all about self motivation now. So, make it work!

Further, "If you are not anxious then something is missing in your motivation or desire.", according to Dr. Gold. So, the first rule to a successful college career is, don't worry about being worried. It is only natural, given what we are facing. Also, a little anxiety can keep you on your toes.

Since the particular book I choose did not focus, specifically, on study tips in my reading thus far (And, I read a good portion of the book, when I wasn't even required to do so.), as I expected it would, I shall just list a few from my own experience.

A. Be realistic here. Realize how much time you need for homework and set that time aside. This is something I discovered long ago, even before it became, what appears to be, a trend to tell students the class time to home work ratio, near vehemently, these days.

B. Find a great work space and do your homework, along with your studying, there regularly.

C. Stay focused. Eat fish a half hour before, as it is said it helps one focus. Hey, it couldn't hurt, eh?

D. Review, Review, Review. Get it into your long term memory as much as you can.

HAPPY LEARNING!!! -SD

I want to make an announcement that I have the permission to share some of my e-mail content from the sender(s). With respect to my pulling down content from my site yesterday, I had explained to the individual through electronic mail communication that I thought I had the go ahead to share that (In fact, I am most sure of that.), given nothing of a personal or private nature was shared, ie names, e-mail addresses, etc., from previous e-mail correspondence, and that is why I did so. I would simply edit out the private matter. You see, I had posted some of our former correspondences, without incident. I had offered to take the latest posted correspondence down since the individual was upset and uncomfortable with that particular content being posted. I had apologized to said individual. -SDRoads, Administrator

This just in!

Another local Metro accident. A train collided with a bus. Fortunately, there were no fatalities today, like the previous massive accident of late. This is becoming a trend... and an epidemic. -SDRoads

We must stay focused on this information -
November is closer than we think!
John Glenn (DEMOCRAT) said this ----- It should make us all think:
There were 39 combat related killings in Iraq in January. In the fair city of Detroit there were 35 murders in the month of January. That's just one American city, about as deadly as the entire war-torn country of Iraq .

When some claim that President Bush shouldn't have started this war, tell them the following:

FDR (DEMOCRAT) led us into World War II. Germany never attacked us; Japan did. From 1941-1945, 450,000 lives were lost ...an average of 112,500 per year.

Truman (DEMOCRAT) finished that war and started one in Korea. North Korea never attacked us. From 1950-1953, 55,000 lives were lost ..
an average of 18,334 per year.

John F. Kennedy (DEMOCRAT) started the Vietnam conflict in 1962. Vietnam never attacked us.

Johnson (DEMOCRAT) turned Vietnam into a quagmire when he lied (admitted) about an attack on our Navy in the Gulf of Tonkin. From 1965-1975, 58,000 lives were lost ...an average of 5 ,800 per year.

Clinton (DEMOCRAT) went to war in Bosnia without UN or French consent. Bosnia never attacked us. He was offered Osama bin Laden's head on a platter three times by Sudan and did nothing. Osama has attacked us on multiple occasions.

This one is a fact that makes me mad as hell.

In the years since terrorists attacked us, President Bush has liberated two countries, crushed the Taliban, crippledal-Qaida, put nuclear inspectors in Libya, Iran, and, North Korea without firing a shot, and captured a terrorist whoslaughtered 300,000 of his own people. And the Democrats are complainingabout how long the war is taking.
But Wait, There's more.

It took less time to take Iraq than it took Janet Reno (DEMOCRAT) to take the Branch Davidian compound. That was a 51-day operation.

It took less time for the 3rd Infantry Division and the Marines to destroy the Medina Republican Guard than it took Ted Kennedy to call the police after his Oldsmobile sank at Chappaquiddick.
It took less time to take Iraq than it tookto count the votes in Florida!!!
The biased media spins all this so we fail to realize the true comparison facts.
But Wait ...There's more!
JOHN GLENN (on the Senate floor - January 26, 2004)

Some people still don't understand why military personnel do what they do for a living. This exchange between Senators John Glenn and Senator Howard Metzenbaum is worth reading. Not only is it a pretty impressive impromptu speech, but it's also a good example of one man's explanation of why men and women in the armed services do what they do for a living.

This IS a typical, though sad, example of what some who have never served think of the military.

Senator Metzenbaum (speaking to Senator Glenn): 'How can you run for Senate when you've never held a real job?'

Senator Glenn (D-Ohio):'I served 23 years in the United States Marine Corps. I served through two wars. I flew 149 missions. My plane was hit by anti-aircraft fire on 12 different occasions. I was in the space program. It wasn't my check book, Howard; it was my life on the line. It was not a nine-to-five job, where I took time off to take the daily cash receipts to the bank. I ask you to go with me, as I went the other day... to a veteran's hospital and look those men ...with their mangled bodies ... in the eye, and tell THEM they didn't hold a job!
Note: This sounds a lot like John McCain and General Wesley Clark.
Include Barack Obama who has never served in our Military.

You go with me to the Space Program at NASA and go, as I have gone, to the widows and orphans of Ed White, Gus Grissom and Roger Chaffee .... and you look those kids in the eye and tell themthat their DAD'S didn't hold a job..

You go with me on Memorial Day and you stand in Arlington National Cemetery, where I have more friends buried than I'd like to remember, and you watch those waving flags. You stand there, and you think about this nation, and you have the gall to tell ME that those people didn't have a job?
What about Metzenbaum? For those who don't remember During W.W.II, Howard Metzenbaum was an attorney representing the Communist Party in the USA. - Now he's a Senator ridiculing the military!

If you can read this and compare the facts, thank a teacher.
If you are reading it in English instead of German thank a Veteran.

It might not be a bad idea to keep this circulating. I AM!!!

Thanxx for stoppin' by. There have been a lot of nice folks whom have visited here and/or particpated, as well as contacted me and the camp through e-mail. But now, I have to get down to my studies and homework. There is a time for everything. I am going to post above an article that I am writing for my college. I think it will help many of our college students across the nation. Stay tuned. -SDRoads

An Important Reiteration

~Funny how sites like this love to misrepresent facts to their readers.~

I never misrepresented facts. I never misrepresented anything. I simply shared with viewers an article I had found. Hence the reason for the title of the posting: Something of Interest to Our Readers from the Not So Distant Past. It is up to the viewer to believe or disbelieve. I am not their keeper, nor am I their programmer, treating them as robots, deciding what they should think and feel, and express. We all have free will. Thank you again for your time. -SD

16 September 2008 11:11

Further, I made it known quite clearly that it was an article I had found that was interesting. No facts were stated in addition to the article by myself or anyone at this site. The article in question was cited properly. And, how do we know that YOU are not misrepresenting facts? As I ask, Who Really Knows Anyone, or anything?

I hope we can know move on to even more important things. How about we focus on the segment within this site on the protection of children. Is there anything you have done today to protect children? They so desperately need our support and help. We must be their voice when no one will listen to them. When they are shut down. I think that people can do something to help children out of the blue and spontaneously. Even the smallest amount of help counts. What will you do today to help a child? AS the politicians continue to backbite each other, and make speeches that many times are written for them, children are being hurt, all over the world. And that is my commentary. -SDRoads

An Important Announcement

Hi everyone. Someone I know has asked me to take something down. I can't say I didn't see that coming, at least, something coming. I had noticed something days and days before I was asked that. It is going to happen a few posts down. I am going to edit it out. But, I'd like to write something here. Though this individual person seemed to have misunderstood my points, and perhaps thought I was doing something I truly wasn't, in all actuality, I feel that that individual's words should remain up. Aside from that fact that I feel this person misunderstood me, this person's words, in and of themselves, are brilliant. I think it is a wonderful addition to this site. But, I have been asked to remove those words, and I shall. I will leave everything up at that post in question except for the individual's words. I think it is o.k. to have varying points of view. However, in this respect, it just so happens that the individual and I were on the same page, but, she never knew. So, a shout out to this person: Holla... I think you should reconsider and let me put the words back up. You make a lot of valid points there. Sincerely, SDRoads

The Daily Word

Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah [and] against Jerusalem. And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it. In that day, saith the Lord, I will smite every horse with astonishment, and his rider with madness: and I will open mine eyes upon the house of Judah, and will smite every horse of the people with blindness. And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, The inhabitants of Jerusalem [shall be] my strength in the Lord of hosts their God. In that day will I make the governors of Judah like an hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left: and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, [even] in Jerusalem. The Lord also shall save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem do not magnify [themselves] against Judah. In that day shall the Lord defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David [shall be] as God, as the angel of the Lord before them. And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.

Here's the deal.

O.k. I know it may seem nice to want to sit down and look at what each of the candidates has to offer, in order to make an informed decision. That is true, a good idea, and useful. And, I do not negate that. However, as I mentioned earlier, in a previous post, I am here to show all sides, the Yay, the Nay, and the Indifferent. That can help people to be more open minded and to get their creative juices flowing in the analytical thinking department, so that those same people truly will have the capability to make an informed and educated decision. But, I must bring up a few, what I feel, are very valid points. First off, you must keep in mind that each of the candidates are human, prone to the entire scope of human capabilities, and some may make a good impression for a reason, if you catch my drift. Like I have been saying, Who Really Knows? Also, as I mentioned before, there is a lot that goes on behind the scenes that not the entire public knows about. Along with that, we must all keep in mind that there are some major influences and strongholds that can affect even the nicest most respectable of candidates with the best of intentions. You know, in SOME ways, in some, mind you, the title and office of the Presidency is almost that of a FigureHead, if you will. Further, there is a bigger picture to consider here. A lot of bad things can happen if the wrong person gets into Office. And this is a most critical point in the life of America. Listen, WE'VE HAD YEAR UPON YEAR UPON YEAR UPON YEAR TO GET THIS RIGHT, AND THE KINKS STILL AREN'T WORKED OUT OF THE SYSTEM YET? AND ALL SOME OF THE CANDIDATES CAN DO IS SEEM TO BACKBITE EACH OTHER??? Hmmmm?! We need to focus on the future like never before. Now is the time. Our Country is in danger. We are in danger. Also, as a sidebar note, keep in mind that a lot of what the candidates say to the public are items that are WRITTEN FOR THEM!!! Do we the people really believe that things can be so drastically changed in 4 years? It took years for America to get fat on overindulgence, stupidity, waste, pollution, corruption, yadda yadda yadda. It is going to take some time for us, with the aid of a head honcho, an informed citizen, to get us ALL out of this mess. Even the ones that profit from this mess at the time. For, in time, it will turn to bite them in the ass! Yes, that's right. Again, this is My Commentary, not "news". However, a lot of, in fact, all of, my commentary comes from reliable sources who have been in the mix, if you will, and hours of research and investigation. I thank you for your time. And that is my commentary.

Interesting Reading

Thanxx Rick, for the following. -SD :

Here's some interesting facts for you: - They've never released the list of the politicians at JBR's X-Mas party.
- You can find it on the internet that Gary Condit is good friends with Mr. Ramsey.
- You can find it that his stewardess girlfriend describes how Condit likes kinky sex, and has wild sex parties at Gov. Gray's Catalina Island.
- The Ramsey's 1st daughter was apparently also an "Embarrassment" and died an unusually early death, as well.
- The M.O. of the murder overlaps with that of Chandra Levy, Laci Peterson, and others I describe on my website, www.rickhyatt.freeservers.com. I personally witnessed the Condit's works in 1977 while in US Army M.I. and was sworn to secrecy regarding their "Sexual Embarrassment Disposal Svc," as it look like they were targeting Congress for infiltration.
- The new "Touch DNA" found on JBR should be compared with the new-found LA Serial Killer case, as that, too, is "Condit Country." He and his wife do what they do for pleasure, fun, and sexual release, and keep trophies, as well. (That missing toy from JBR's bed?)
- The more interesting is how all these cases end up having L.Wood and Geragos as their attorneys. To include that Aruba case, even. The Condits have always had high-level Police and Political protection, as should be obvious. (It always boils down to "Special Congressional Funding to assist the local Police Force..." And then they find nothing. Same thing happened in the BTK case concerning Vickie Wegerle - And Condit grew up just south of Wichita.)
Be sure to visit my Picasa Albulm on Condit's victims, and you'll see just how far back and how wide his "Services" go.

Ex-JonBenet Ramsey Murder Suspect John Mark Karr Leaves U.S.
Wednesday, September 17, 2008

John Mark Karr
ATLANTA — John Mark Karr's father says his son, feeling unwelcome in the Grant Park neighborhood near downtown Atlanta, has left the country, but did not say where he had gone.

Karr had implicated himself in the murder of 6-year-old JonBenet Ramsey, who was found dead in her Boulder, Colo., home on Dec. 26, 1996.

The 43-year-old Karr was cleared of the Ramsey murder when his DNA did not match that found on JonBenet's body. He was cleared of the porn charges due to lack of evidence.

Wexford Karr said his son had moved to the Grant Park "where he was helping me with some of my properties."

The father said his son has "been treated like a criminal."

Since this is, amongst other things, a Family News Center, as well, as mentioned long before, I am going to give a big shout out to SHANATHAN!!!!! Baby Boy, yesterday was the most joyous birthday you and I have spent together yet, though all are grand. You are an amazing child. Congrats on turning 6 and doing such a great job on it! I am so glad we got to spend quality time together on your birthday. Don't forget your big birthday bash is coming soon, baby. I hope you loved the mini party in the meantime. And... loved the movie. Let's go see it again, eh? Naahh. But, I'm glad you liked it. The Lord knows how we had our hearts set on seein' that movie. I love you. Love, forever, your Mommy

Welcome All

to the SDRoads' News and Entertainment Center, where there is always more than one road to take. Perhaps I should call it the News, Entertainment, and Commentary Center. ... Nahhh. One day, a real forum. For now, this, with it's comment sections. Not too shabby if I do say so myself. And stay tuned for information on our up and coming sister site. Happy Reading -SD

To put it in the words of...

How does the saying go? What's one man's trash is another man's ... oh yeah, treasure. Well, I say: What's one man's news is another man's disagreement. Here, at the site, I have always encouraged all to share their views, no matter what they may be, while being respectful. I have expressed more than once that there is always two sides to any given story, sometimes more. Please, let's not forget that. I think one should look at the big picture here, before making a conclusion and/or judgment. That, actually, is the whole point behind this site, hence the reason for the title. An event can happen, and there may be 5 stories that come from it, all possibly being considered news. And that is my commentary. -SDRoads, Administrator

I do not "keep" (on) doing that (claiming that Obama is a Muslim). As a matter of fact, technically, I have not done it once. As I recall, I never used names. AND, we must all keep in mind that the 3 now down to 2 head honchos are not the only ones running. And that is my commentary. -SDRoads

Further, I had written something to the affect that I don't even know the gentleman, nor what his religious beliefs and practices are. I just need to set the record straight here. The bigger picture and point were missed. -SDRoads

I am thinking a lot of what you said about the support factor.Of course, I do realize you may have been being a wee bit sarcastic, HOWEVER, perhaps you weren't. I am hoping for the latter. Wink -SD

Funny how sites like this love to misrepresent facts to their readers. I never did a book and or film on John Mark Karr, and never intended to. John's brother's bought me in as a publicist to stop the spin about them inroducing John to the Ramsays which was not true.

So get your facts straight. It is a sad day when blogs like this are posted.

Hi guys. I am happy to see your comments, though they are not too user friendly, if you get my point. LoL Just know that a.) I am constantly interacting with folks here at the site, and off it, through e~mail ect., with respect to the site, and b.) I don't believe a blog has limitations. I know that a blog is for the purpose of sharing ideas and personal thoughts. That happens here, along with something else that is very dear. But, why should that just be limited to one person? This is the blog for all. And, I don't apologize for that. Again, thank you for your thoughts. Negative comments are better than none at all. Please feel welcome here. -SDRoads

Oh, I nearly forgot the most important point. If you read the entire post in question, you would see that it was sourced out of a well known site. I did not write the article, however, I felt it was interesting and wanted to share it here. Please feel free to express more on your side of it, with respect to discrepancies in the story. By the way, I have looked at many blogs, and they are all different, offering many things to the viewers. Again, I don't think a blog should be limited to what one viewer feels it should be "intended for". Humbly, SDRoads

An above comment was removed by me simply because it was an accidental repeat of my previously posted comment above the removed post. I would like to add here a response to the following:

~Funny how sites like this love to misrepresent facts to their readers.~

I never misrepresented facts. I never misrepresented anything. I simply shared with viewers an article I had found. Hence the reason for the title of the posting: Something of Interest to Our Readers from the Not So Distant Past. It is up to the viewer to believe or disbelieve. I am not their keeper, nor am I their programmer, treating them as robots, deciding what they should think and feel, and express. We all have free will. Thank you again for your time. -SD

***~~~Karr's Family Selling Book, Movie Rights

Relatives of accused JonBenet Ramsey killer John Mark Karr secured movie and book rights to the family's story on Wednesday, and hope to use any money raised to hire a defense attorney for Karr and pay for college for his three teenage sons.

Karr's father, Wexford Karr, and brother hired SilverCreek Entertainment president Larry Garrison to represent them in any media deals and to help them find a top lawyer to represent Karr, the Associated Press reports.

According to the AP, no money has changed hands. Garrison told the Los Angeles Times that Karr's family believes Karr is innocent, despite his statements that he was with the 6-year-old JonBenet when she was killed in Boulder, Colo., on Dec. 26, 1996.

Meanwhile, Karr, 41, remains in L.A. County's Twin Towers jail, where he has met with a psychiatrist twice and is on suicide watch. Since he arrived there Sunday night from Thailand, his mental state and physical safety have been monitored by sheriff's deputies who look in on him every 15 minutes, the AP reports.
"Our goal is to keep him safe and secure," Steve Whitmore, spokesperson for Los Angeles County Sheriff Lee Baca, told the Los Angeles Times. "We are watching him very carefully."

At a court hearing Tuesday, Karr agreed to be sent to Colorado to face charges including first-degree murder, felony murder, first-degree kidnapping, second-degree kidnapping and sexual assault on a child.

California and Colorado authorities would not say when Karr will be transferred.

Karr's family has said Karr was with them and not in Colorado over Christmas 1996, when JonBenet was murdered.

Georgia attorney Gary Harris, who once represented Karr's father and brother Nate, tells the AP that at the time, Karr was unemployed and "couldn't afford to buy a MARTA (Atlantic public transportation) or bus ticket, much less plane fare to Colorado."

Chances are zero he left her.

But to be bit more realistic and logical about it, take a look at the history of how many women have left him:

Quientana? her parents saved her.

Lara? she filed for divorce when she found out what trouble he was in. He didnt even stick around to help her raise or support his boys.

Close friends? too numerous to mention.

Internet followers? 99%

Who do you think left who SD?

Perhaps you could be there for him. He certainly may need some support.

The neighbor.

Re:

I don't just have "news". I have commentary, in the form of posts from the segment, "And that is my commentary~SDRoads." I also have informational links, entertainment sections, cross talk sections, I have begun incorporating sports trivia into my site, I focus on the weather in the form of posts/comments and a constantly running weather link. In addition, I have links for financial information. I have also begun 2 other sections. As in a newspaper, not all of the items to be read are "news". There normally are other sections offered to viewers, as well. Lastly, I would like to mention here that I focus on the arts a bit, too. This site is what I said it was, "a news and entertainment center" with bonuses. I appreciate your concern about the Obama issue, and can understand your commentary. However, in my opinion, it doesn't truly apply to me, for the reason above, ie, I added the "And that is my commentary ~ SDRoads". I can't hold back information that I feel needs to be expressed and shared. Sometimes, people think one way, and believe in something, and then wake up to a rude awakening. I try to cover all ground. I work with sources that provide me with information I deem important enough to share with the world at large. Many many people held back what they felt... and look what happened to the Jews so many years ago. We need a voice, good, bad or indifferent. Every single one of us. All of us, and I want to provide that platform. Also, please keep in mind that I have been very careful to do qualifying things such as, but not limited to, citing my sources carefully, less the anonymous kind, mentioning that this is "hypothetical" here and yonder. You see, my friend, I don't want anyone to feel they can not share their ideas here. I have properly disclosed that before, in even greater detail with additional disclosure that offending others will not be allowed. I like to show all sides, the good, bad, and the indifferent, and be as impartial as possible. And, I am pretty sure that I have stated here, more than once, to look at the good and bad, pros and cons, and of all the candidates. But, I feel that is something one has to do on their own quiet time and really listen to their heart on it. If a man gets hit on the head with a baseball bat, by another man, it is news. So, why shant it be considered news when a man, or woman, hits the heart and soul of another human being, particularly with respect to politics and the future of our country? As I once wrote here, your news is my news. (Just as a side thought. I sure would like to know the original source of Obama being a Christian. LoL And, I do mean the original, not the regurgitated stuff.) I never said go into this closed minded with blinders on and pick a candidate you'd like to see make it to the Presidency. And, you are missing the broader point here, which truly affects all of us, all over the world. Basically, in a nutshell, it is hard to try and pick a candidate for nomination when things keep changing all the time, new things keep popping up in a when~will~it~end frenzie and free~for~all, cat (and dog) fights ensue, within the political walls of justice in Campaign Land. I feel you always have to consider the what ifs and the what if nots. I feel one has to take into consideration that we don't really know what is truly going on with all of these candidates, with respect to their political views, agendas, nor as with what goes on behind the scenes, hence the reasoning behind the title of this site, Who Really Knows Anyone, or Anything. And take it a step further, and notice if touches on protection measures, protection of us all in all things. That's one of the reasons I like McCain (I won't say so much for I don't yet know all of his political views and agendas. I just simply liked the fact he didn't get in onto all of that backbiting in quite the same way other candidates, whom shall remain nameless at this time, had. My mother once ran for a very important office in Massachusetts, as you know, and got one third of the vote without even campaigning or ... backbiting. Yeah, it is possible! One of my stories I have in the pile up touches on many of these subjects, I just don't have the time to do it all, what with family, school, work, and some additional and needed projects. I don't have a full staff yet. I need a secretary with my busy and hectic~at~times schedule. That is a goal of mine. I am aiming on having a full but moderate full time pay staff. I am like 7 postings behind, but, the stories are doozies, most covering the political front. In your next e-mail to me, you ask if I am mad at you. My answer was no. In the e-mail after that you ask if I had been on that train trip that meet with unfortunate demise. My answer was no. You had shown concern there, asking I let you know if I am o.k. Thank you. I am. I just did not have access to a computer for days. I shall post this at the site, for I feel it touches on some important issues. then, I must do my homework. Thank you for your time and input. Sincerely, SDRoads

Such Beauty

Brooke Simmons and John Mark Karr made such a beautiful couple, in many ways, truly, that this almost sickens me that they are apart. All you have to do is talk to them one time to know they clicked and had a chemistry unsurpassable (Is that a word? Haha) in strength by most. But, they are apart, and, as I said before, I wish the best for each of them. Most people know John Mark Karr is a very handsome man. And, every so often that is discussed. And, a few times, I have heard that Brooke is beautiful. I agree. These precious people have the faces of angels. And don't forget, angels can be dark or light. LoL Just kidding. Yeah, yeah, I know many think of John as dark, but, I have seen the light in him... I have felt it. More on that later. And Brooke is gloriously beautiful. I am glad we all got to see these wonderful pictures. -SDRoads

Thanxx again to Talie

... for letting me know about the John Ramsey interview with Oprah yesterday. I woke up just in the nick of time to watch the tail end of the show on the rebroadcast around 1:45 a.m. It was a real blessing. He was radiant and Pamela was stunning. No time for a regular post now, so I will just paste the other news here. Gotta jet to class. -SD

I have some exciting news! And, I am going to be sharing it at the site. But, I wanted you to be the first to hear it. Well, actually, the second, for I left a message with Xxxxx. I am considering testing to be a Deputy Sheriff Trainee this month. You will find details at the site. I am not even going to tell my parents yet. I have homework to do and the site to work on right now, and I have under 2 hours to do it, before class. So, I better get to work on that right away. A computer just opened up, here at the campus library. How is your day so far? I got to see a large (portion) of the John Ramsey interview with Oprah around 1:45 this morning. I just so happened to wake up. I saw Pam, too. She looked so much like Patsy in some ways. She reminded me of you, too. She said some amazing things about JonBenet. ~The person the rhymes with Xxx LoL Wink

Final Post of the Day, Post #9~ A Blast From The Past

I was a hostage for John Mark Karr
By Steve Rose | Tuesday, July 10, 2007, 10:38 AM

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

John Mark Karr was arrested this past weekend.

Unless you’re in a coma you should know this. This isn’t about him. It’s about everything that happened as a result.

I’m the public information officer for the Sandy Springs police department. I got a call from the lieutenant around 1:30 a.m. Saturday. He said John Mark Karr was arrested about midnight and I might get some media calls. I think that’s what he said. I don’t really know. I was in a deep sleep, dreaming something about me, a Viking ship, and a gnome, sitting at the Waffle House, telling me that my fonts were unsatisfactory. I think his name was Sven.

8:00 Saturday morning:

My cell phone starts ringing. I know the numbers of the regular press folks and sure enough, this is one of them. They ask me something about John Mark Karr. Now I remembered that I got a call about Karr and it wasn’t part of the dream—about the gnome—and why would he car eabout my fonts anyway?

I told them I’d get the particulars and get back. Look for an e-mailed press release shortly.

8:35, 37, 40, 45….more calls, all from media. Say goodbye to Saturday morning.

9:15-The press release is done. In an informative way, it says almost nothing. This report was classified as a domestic violence report meaning there isn’t much information that I can release so I made it a point to accentuate the obvious. For example, I confirmed that all parties were human beings.

Next come calls to confirm the information that I’m really not saying anything about in the press release, just in case I left something that says nothing, out of the document.

9:45 I have confirmed that the lack of information that I put in the original release, has enough nothing in it so that I don’t need to add zero information to what already contains very little.

Local reporters now have enough non-information to begin setting up for the noon news reports, trying to figure out how to report the nothing that they got from me. Fortunately, they have 30 hours of file footage to fall back on.

ROUND TWO National Media calls.

The national media calls. Sometimes they want live interviews. MSNBC wants a live interview so they call and ask me if I can stand by for a moment—meaning ten minutes. They put me on hold. This allows me an opportunity to listen to their program while it broadcasts, very loudly, in my phone. I’m in the car which is not the best time for me to talk to anyone much less do a live interview on a national news show but before I can pull over I’m talking to someone with a fabulous name, asking for the sequence of events. They ask me to describe what is happening right about the same time Detective Sandy tells me to turn left. This confused me so I said something like “The officers received a call at the home of I think I was supposed to turn left there.”

For the sake of the interview and trying not to sound like a goober, I drove in a straight line until the end of the interview. I told them nothing in various general descriptive terms, confirming what they already knew and adding things like “A hearing will be set and we’ll go from there” and “The parties involved will be summoned to a hearing on a future date” which tells you about as much as saying “the sun will be available until dark.” The interview went longer than I thought. When it was over I was in Gatlinburg.

After two days of providing an extensive amount of nothing to the national media, including ‘Entertainment Tonight’ and ‘Inside Edition’, who’s only interest was obtaining mug shots and 911-tape, the frenzy was just about over.

The last piece of this story was to provide nothing to the New York Post whose reporter was less than enthusiastic on the phone. I shared his less than excited attitude because after all, I spent most of my weekend on the phone trying to explain nothing in a new and exciting way for each interview all the while trying to get some chores in as well as a brief trip to the outlet mall. None of us really wanted to spend our weekend covering this because after all, it really was more of a non-press-event than news but when people demand to know the details of what I’m not going to tell them, I’m obligated to convey this lack of information to them—sort of.

I will also have you know that this was not done without sacrifice.

For those of you in a particular outlet store Saturday afternoon, I really was in the fitting room and I really was talking to ‘Entertainment Tonight’ on the phone and although I’m sorry I forgot what I was doing when I walked back out of the fitting room in my boxers, there was no need to have me escorted out by security.

Oh my goodness!!! Now, BeeBee's gone too???

BeeBee, are you o.k? Worried for you, SD

I was near astonished when, as I was walking down the campus...

...corridor, I found there were postings after postings of the death toll, due all of OUR Projects in the name of International Peace. It made me stop dead in my tracks. There were even some photographs... some of children, injured, and/or on the verge of death. Such a sad state of affairs. And that is my commentary. -SDRoads

Look, here's the deal....

I think we need McCain. I mean, Hillary still has not addressed to the public at large the scandal to most people's satisfaction. Some have not even heard of it. It I were running for President of the United States of America, I would bring it all to the table, and let the people truly have a choice through the having the chance of truly being able to make decisions based on all of the facts. Hillary is a full supporter of Osama Bin bara, I mean Barack Hussain Obama. At least Obama has one really great thing going for him now. He was adamant that family are off limits with respect to targeting during the campaigning. Good job Obama. Like I said, Maybe we really need McCain, or anyone else running for that matter. Keep pushing McCain. We're here to listen. And that is my commentary. -SDRoads, Administrator
