Heart Warming

Was able to catch Anderson Cooper's show during Family Chess Night on the big screen at the local pizzaria. Very heart touching to see some of the Chilean miners be reunited with their families. Great to see all of them rescued. Now, actor George Clooney has been on discussing the ticking time bomb in the Sudan. Please pray for the people of that area. -SD Roads

I am about to read a letter from my friend in Ma. We had planned for my friend to visit in October, at Halloweentime. Let's see what my friend has to say. Hold on. ... OH! My friend not only sent a letter, but also some pictures and a local Mass newspaper article of Marilyn Monroe. What a surprise! What a friend! My friend is coming out in December, now. I am from that general area, originally. I hope a certain someone comes with memorabilia from there. ;) (hint hint) Well, I am going to read the article now. :) -SD

A Trader Joe's (R) Treat

This week my parents came to visit. On the second visit of the week they took me to lunch and brought Shanathan and I some Trader Joe's (R) Pumpkin Butter. mmm I recommend the product to all of my readers as a fun treat to put out on their holiday tables. -SD

So sweet, yet a bit sad. Our neighbor across from us is moving. We just exchanged parting gifts with him. Very sweet man. He is an artist. I want to showcase his paintings. He let us know that though it is his last night here, he is keeping his drums in his studio for two weeks and that Shanathan can play them. How nice.
