The Democratic Way

"Meanwhile, the Democrats, who were supposed to pull us together, were so busy pulling us apart, that they digressed."

WWII Veteran Breaks Into Olde Familiar Role

*SDRoads gets medical attention today from olde World War II Veteran, Rodney Stone.* The palpitations were going on for hours. Usually they relent a lot faster than that. I had to get off the bus after only one stop to run in to the local McDonalds. I was told by this nice woman, whom I now see regularly, on the bus, that ingesting protein may be the key to quickly reversing this. That was my surmising, anyway. By the way, note to self, I have to call her and let her know how it went. She said that I didn't eat any protein yet, after asking me what I had for breakfast. The incident occurred just before lunch. What she said made me recall what I had recently learned. An interesting little facet of information, we have to feed our organs (in order to have them run smoothly.) In other words, if an organ is made up primarily of proteins, we must consume proteins regularly for optimal organ function. I also learned that the each organ reproduces itself, cell by cell, for a specific amount of time each decade. So, you could literally have a new heart at the end of seven years. That's the easy part! Nature takes care of that. It happens all on it's own accord. What you will do with that heart is what really matters. But, I digress. Will have to save that for The Big Announcement that is soon to come. So, back to the story: I am standing in line waiting to order my-already-know-what-I-want-order, that consists of all things healthy, which is actually a possibility these days, when ordering at McDonalds, when in walks this WWII Vet. I gave him the lowdown on what was happening to me, and he quickly shifted into medic mode, like in the days of war. He taught me about the things that were related to what was going on with me and my heart, and, did everything he could to nurse me back to health, at least, on the road to. He even escourted me on the bus to my campus and waited with me for a while, IN CLASS, to make sure I'd be al~right. What a trooper!!! About Rod: He was "born famous". He was named after a book, of all things, Rodney Stone, by Sir Arthur Doyle, the mastermind behind Sherlock Holmes. He is also The Artist whom chalked some of my self portrait photographs into works I string together and call The Paintings. One of which I morphed into a grown up version of JonBenet Ramsey with the flip of a wrist. Those will be submitted to his gallery, which I shall showcase here, at the News Center. Thanxx Rodney, for your undying service back in wartime, and today. -SDRoads
