Shanathan and I are having a nice cozy night at home. A movie and red licorice, hot chocolate without the marshmallows this time, Qubo, and a little Dick Clark's New Year's Eve show are all on the agenda. Today, was lunch with mom and dad and my oldest son, Joe, along with some lite shopping. Tomorrow, we catch the New Year's Parade and its preshow on t.v. over breakfast of pancakes with pumpkin and cranberry spread, scrambled eggs, and orange juice. Sunday, church, and, after, Shane continuing to play with all of his new Christmas toys. Then, Monday, it is back to school for the boys. Keith and Shaun called from England. My Shanathan is playing with his new Christmas toys while I write here, all the while singing the KOST Christmas songs with me, that I turned into a Goodbye to Christmas 2010 Coundown. Shanathan decided to create a new math on his chalkboard. I have done that in the past, only on paper. I told him I was going to write here that he was creating the new math. He said, "No. It's Letter Math!" I stand corrected. LoL We are now singing Christmas Shoes. Touching. It's one of our favorites. Okay, Not So Quick LoL - Continued from below

... window sill, and, lastly, two of the miniture Christmas structure lights; the train station and the flower shop. House is decked out. I love to sleep amongst the sweet lights while KOST 103.5, where it is all Christmas until it is Christmas, plays on. We found a great Church home. The Season is full of joy!! Tucked Shane in for the fourth time. LoL His four blankets kept flying off. Well, one last check at facebook and to turn down the radio volume a bit, and it is off to dream of sugar plums for me. Quick Family Update

I am getting a cold for Christmas. LoL Wydolf's nose has been polished. Keith made it to England on the plane safely. My Shanathan bought me a present tonight with money I gave him and told me it is "marvelous". So cute!! Had dinner wit me mum n dad n me Joe... and Shane, of course. Joe was all smiles, which is wonderful since he has Autism. Físh, a.k.a. Sweetie, seems to like her Christmas tree, and my training her to do tricks seems to be going swimmingly. Shane is looking forward to wrapping presents all by himself tomorrow. Tonight (technically last night) I did a rush order on wrapping gifts because my dad wanted some under his tree from me and Shane tonight. LoL I only wrapped half of them with Shane and brought them to the towne centre mall where we all had dinner. Christmas lights are off and the heating pad is on. That is the outside Christmas lights, mind you. The inside Christmas bedroom lights are on and the lights on the biggest tree, along

Well, it is more aloe vera juice, water, and fresh cranberries for me, now. It really helps. Along with antibiotics and anti inflammatory med. Feel dehydrated in my abdomen and back, in the organs. I have been given a homeopathic remedy for that. But probably should wait until my antibiotics are done. Then it is probiotics, cranberry of varying type, water, and remedy all the way. To Empower

In family news, I really empowered myself today in the medical field. Thanxx to a little push or two, or three. I like to empower myself, but it was because of 3 individual people that I decided to do that empowering I had planned for another time today, instead. I will explain more later. Had a great dinner with Shanathan. I ordered the Holiday Slam at Denny's. The cranberry pancakes were delightful, and great for the kidney infection I have. Another stalemate, causing there to be a third tie, led to the second of the back to back blitz games. The second blitz game, timed at 3 minutes, raised the intensity level of those around the two children; one being my Shanathan. My baby came in second place in his division!! The mom of the boy whom came in first and I had a hug, and just as much fun as our kids. She captured some great shots of the kids receiving their awards. And another, she took of our boys resting in the grass together, lying there, each with their trophies in hand, watching the clouds go by. What a great shot that will be for the site! Tragedy of Sherman Oaks continued

At the prayer service held on Wednesday morning at the highschool Conor attended, people seemed lost. Shannon King of the school told one reporter, "The whole campus has been very quiet."

My young son and I moved this past summer. While Sherman Oaks seems safer and nicer than Van Nuys, it is this amateur reporter's conclusion that no city is safe. I follow in my father's sentiment on that. Become an advocate for your towne and help any way you can to make your city an even nicer and safer place to reside. It can be done. Get the awareness out! Please. No more grieving mothers! No more dead kids, taken out in their ultimate prime! So sad. He looks a bit like my sons. And this is my plight. To Pay Our Respects - A Local Tragedy

As I sit here in this cozy little coffee shop, so cozy I am served my decaf in a Christmas coffee cup, I reflect. Tragedy has struck our fair city. Conor Lynch, 16, of Notre Dame High, resident of sweet and cozy Sherman Oaks, has been hit by an 18 year old female of Van Nuys. I will not be posting her name. (Excuse me as I sip softly the warm concoction from my holiday cup.)

Conor, a local athlete and junior of his highschool, was running with his running mates of the cross country sect, in an afternoon workout, not far from campus. He was fatally injured at approximately 3:45 p.m. as the driver continued on for reasons unknown at this time. Two lives ruined, one destroyed.

Conor's doting mother would often follow him in her vehicle to insure his safety. NOW, questions arise about the safety of cross country? Now? In this day and age, it is not safe to participate in that extra curricular activity. The ever loving mom had the right idea.

Okay. So far the address you gave does check out. I implore you to tell the victim, if it is not you, yourself, to call 311, immediately. Yes, a person, victim, can stay anonymous and do nothing, or even be anonymous and contact the local rape crises center. But what if the alleged rapist and co-rapist strike again? And if they know the victim is doing nothing about it, they could restrike said victim again, the next time possibly being more brutal, further, perhaps even deadly. Please, to the victim, contact the police. And if the crime took place within the last 24 hours, get a rape kit. Please. There is no shame in being rapped. Enjoying a great episode of I Love Lucy

A Vacay

Today is a true vacation day for me. I have no work scheduled, due to my medical exemption. And I have planned for no volunteer work today. I normally work volunteer regularly, at a pace conducive to my physical health level. I worked extra hard, and safely, over the last three weeks to be able to take this day off. Tonight is a mini party. It is like my weekend is starting early. And no chest pain or heart palpitations today. Hooray! Granted, I have severe pain in my lower right quadrant of my abdomen. But that is a bit easier to deal with than the chest pain, that makes me clutch, at times. I actually got to see Good Day LA!! My daughter, JillíanJon, was named after Jillian Barberie and my father, initially, as well as JonBenét, later. Jill B. was making Halloween treats on the show. You have heard of the expression "sitting on the couch, eating bon bons"? Well, I'll be sitting eating California Rolls and string cheese. LoL Heck, I may even watch a
soap opera. ha Gotta jett. TMZ is on. ;) -SD

The Swaying Trees

Some Enchanted Evening

This evening was wonderful. My son, Shanathan, and I went through our holiday boxes. As some of you remember, we had mentioned something similar here when we moved into our new place. We had things delivered from two of our homes that we hadn't seen in years. Oh, the treasures we saw. And, oh, the wonders we saw tonight! I found old Christmas pictures I took of Key and Shanathan when Shanathan's new bike was revealed to him, one Christmas morn. And, to my delight, I found pictures of my friends and myself at my place from way back in 1996. So sweet. I lived in Las Vegas, so I made a small Christmas tree out of a tumble weed. One of my friends walked in and said, "Look! It's the Charlie Brown Christmas tree!" Too cute. It sure will be hard to find a tumble weed this coming winter. LoL ;) -SD

A wonderful gentleman neighbor helped me change two light bulbs in difficult places, a bit ago. A very nice man, he is. Yesterday afternoon, our family received word from a loved one in England. His name is Shaun. He made my day. I just found the email today. Thanxx Shaun! In other family news, my boys are learning to cook food by Chef Mommy. Their dad is a great cook, too. To those that ask me strange questions, I don't think it is fair that you ask such personal questions, and so many, and at such a fast rate. You are strangers to me. It is not safe to answer the deep and personal questions of strangers. I "have my life", too. And it is one I am proud of and love. A nice person once said to me that I would be better off as a child advocate than a cop because cops can be no good. I appreciate that. But cops can be good. The system can work. But I remember those words. I have never been a suspect of any case. I feel, keep those questions for suspects and perps. I am just your friendly neighborhood amateur reporter, investigator, and advocate. I get paid to do what I do, but I do some volunteer work. I have time and room in my heart for all. Days ago I stated here that I am going to be not discussing the case of JonBenét Ramsey or John Mark Karr. It is not so much I need a break I just am taking one. Well, I still need to take one. Over the last couple of days I have been speaking with a female in a degree of depth, being asked question after question after question. I do not feel you become "friends" with people in a getting-to-know-you fashion, as she suggests, with interrogation. I did answer certain questions. This happened all so sudden. I was actually calling someone else, initially. I know my friends and I don't ask question after question after question when we first meet a person. It is imposing and quite rude. I say, state your purpose initially, be polite, be respectful, don't overspeak the other person you are drilling, and don't use boasting and sarcasm. It does not show good interpersonal skills. Further, it truly is unwarranted. True friendships take time. One does not need

A source has told me that information has been leaked out and a story is in the works. It is soon to be breaking out in the Globe and is to be distributed next month. It allegedly has 'shocking JonBenét murder video'. But this amateur reporter feels it is a play on words and in no way contains info on a snuff video. I say the words "JonBenét murder" refers to and stands for "the case". So string the words together and what do you have? Shocking JonBenét case video. It may not be more than some key people in the case discussing never before realeased information with some general video shots, perhaps even interview footage. Less it is the footage of John Mark Karr seen in the video when JonBenét Ramsey was singing a Christmas song at the mall allegedly hiding out there. Further, my source informed me of two websites, crimechatter.com and rememberingjonbenet.com. I got a hunch there are some major players of the detective variety at the latter. -SD

Contrary to popular belief... Ahh It is so easy for some to take the wide road and not the narrow path. ... my daughter was not taken from me. One should find out the story before one passes it along. For goodness sake, at least try! At one point my beautiful daughter was kidnapped from the home of the baby sitter. Her father and I immediately contacted the police after the dreaded call came in. I remember hearing a woman's voice on the other end of the 911 call. At another point my daughter was illegally and immorally adopted by a single woman who can not physically have children of her own, as we were informed. That information reflected my hunch. Jillian's father had the same hunch regarding the woman not being able to have children biologically. An R.O. wasputon her to protect Jillian's father, her younger brother, and myself. At yet another point and time, I had contacted a certain agency for help. Big mistake! Not all government agencies are
straight. Some agencies are handicapped by crooked people. ...

Medically Speaking- A Personal View

With respect to my personal journey, I have been given a medical diagnosis, of which I am very grateful for. Though not a good thing to have wrong, the good news is it accounts for every one of my symptoms I have had hit me hard since 2006, from the aches to the pains to the leg cramps to the chest cramps to the throat and neck constrictions to the breathing trouble to the heart palpitations which all constitute the issue of travelling in vehicles I have had since the summer of 2006. I had been misdiagnosed in this and it is one for the medical journals. I had also been misdiagnosed in 2005 with my cancer case, leaving my cancer to grow for nearly 3 years up until it was removed at the time of my second cancer scare in 2008. I never gave up. That second cancer case turned miracle is another one for the medical and science journals. Or, perhaps not. ;) I want to raise awareness in health issues to people's benefit and here is one place to do it. Also...

I say to the some, stop thinking about the sum. 4get the money and start thinking about the case, and what it is supposed 2 be about. Perhaps the case will get solved faster that way. Don't even take the money. Think about integrity. I, for one, could never take money on the back of the death of a little girl. And those taking money to talk and write about John Mark Karr, a.k.a.
