Hello. Here is our traditional Happy New Year's Eve Eve.

Been sick all day. Chest and back pain, swelling, and burning, with sharp shooting, radiating pains on and off. And, yes, that last bit was redundant... just like the pains. Ouch! My friend, Tina, stayed with me the whole day. That was sweet of her. She was worried about me. I could barely talk at times, and had a little trouble breathing once in a while. It was scary for her, but she stayed with me, followed me room to room as I did my housework, offering me assistance of any kind she could. She even watched me bounce back to better health on my last bit of chores. We had a nice dinner, her, Shane and I, that I cooked of steak with spaghetti, green beans, and Italian bread with sauce. It was so sweet when my youngest son bolted out with, "Ooh! My mom's spaghetti is the best!" That made me smile. This evening, we had a bible study at my house, put on by the church. Shanathan did a great job on the closing prayer. That made me smile and feel proud. I hi5d him. Nice evening. Tired now. Sweet dreams, y'all. -SD
