I almost can't believe the text that just came in on my phone...

About Jonathan

Jonathan Rhys Meyers - “Details” Magazine
Mon, 29 October 2007 at 1:52 pm

Irish stud muffin Jonathan Rhys Meyers takes the cover of Details magazine’s Holiday issue, which hits newsstands in NY/LA tomorrow, Tuesday 10/30.
On Brad Pitt: “Let’s not kid ourselves—this business is about being good-looking. Look, Brad Pitt is an incredible actor, but do you think he’d be a famous movie star if he didn’t look like that? Come on!”
On Leonardo Dicaprio: “[Leonardo DiCaprio] was successful very young, was a party boy, took two years off, and then became this major Hollywood player. Right now I can get a $5 million film green-lit, not a $100 million film.”
On being a narcissist: “Part of being a narcissist is being terribly insecure. If I wasn’t so insecure about myself, I wouldn’t work as hard as I do. I am constantly seeking approval.”
On staying out of the limelight: “You know why I stay out of the limelight? I always think there will be that time that people will find out that I’m crap at what I do. I think they will figure out I’m crap. Doesn’t everybody have that feeling?”

Rhys Meyers, now 30, has been in rehab twice.
“I want to do really good things with my life,” he says. “And drinking is not synonymous with that. The [Richard] Burton days, the [Peter] O’Toole days, they are gone.”

Good luck Jonathan, and God Bless! I think you WILL do great things with your life! -Sincerely, SD
P.S. I think I'll make you Our Actor Of A Lifetime!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JILLIAN!!!

Happy Birthday sweet Babygirl Queen! I love you. Love, Your mom and brother

This Just In! SDRoads Gets The Ax!

Hi. Well, Xxxxx, they finally gave me the ax, the old heev ho, I've been 86d! I am sad. I am finding all kinds of good things out of it. But, I am still sad about it. There's something up with the contract. Technically, they can't do that to me and Xxxxx, for, I filled the requirements of the probation, which I just found out I was on, by the way, at that 9:30 a.m. meeting I told you about. Because, after my initial shock, and then, sudden sadness, I asked them, "Well, why didn't they give me probation, first, before they did this (kicked me out)?". She told me, I WAS on probation. That's the technicality, the loophole, if you will. How can they give me the ax based on "hours", or, the lack thereof, that were not even a part of that 30 day contract, that, I found out, was probation? Does not make sense, but, they did it anyway. I asked to contest it by saying, "Whoever did this, decided this, can I have a meeting with them?" The co-ordinator immediately said, "I knew you were going to say that, so, I asked them for a meeting." I am now just waiting for that appointment. You want to hear the real kicker? During my last 2 months that I am allowed to stay (vs. the December 22nd date, and the chance to graduate, which, by the way, the other woman that this happened to today and I have been stripped of that opportunity!) I still have to do my "hours", or I will be asked to leave immediately. At least, since they know that we Xxxxx and I have to look for other temporary housing (until the permanent comes in... if it comes in), that they will count HUD Housing and apartment hunting towards my hours. This is so weird, I didn't know this could happen today. They never told me I was on probation. If I had known, I wouldn't have been in for such a shock. Plus, I found out the reason they didn't need a letter of extention request for that meeting today was because that meeting was a Review and not a Extention Meeting. I didn't know that either until the other day. I think I can (politely) fight this, but, in the end, they are going to do whatever they want anyway. Call me if you can, o.k? -Xxxxxxx You know, the first thing I thought of when this happened this morning was my kids. And, today is Jillian's birthday! What a day for this to happen. Like I said before, I am trying to find and receive all the good out of this that I can. And, if things go as I hope when I contest it, maybe I will be able to graduate after all!
