Local NewsFlash
Car collision at Victory and Coldwater Canyon. Witnesses standing by. Further, it is very dark around here. There is not a lot of street light. There is also not light on the outside of our apartment building tonight. We had made a pit stop home a bit ago. More responders have arrived at the scene of the accident. We will be off to dinner soon. Time for a Happy Meal. Shanathan sure deserves one. They have toys from the movie Madagascar, there now. As Shanathan just informed me, he wants to go to McDonalds because he likes to "move it, move it". LoL *SD
The Campus
Wow! It is even smokey at my college campus! The smoke cascades the campus, embracing it, and its beauty like the setting sun. *SDRoads
How Cute!
A JonBenet look~a~like (naturally) had just smiled at Shanathan, said hi to both of us, and smiled again! Her mother had pulled over to the side of the road, to talk to someone in a car behind her. It*s becomming a little hard to breath out here now. This is alarming. We don*t live that far from here. We just saw a bus driver with a mask on. We saw an amazing road that appeared to be in the wilderness, like out of nowhere. I asked him, "How far do you go?" I had to ask twice. He ended up telling me 14 miles to Woodland Hills, as I recall. Even with his mask off, it was difficult communicating with him. He appeared to be having trouble talking, perhaps even breathing. I am over halfway done with work. Yaay! Actually, I don*t mind work. :) *SD
The Most Beautiful House
13405 W.Magnolia Blvd. Dorene Martin (818) 974~9421. ColdWell Banker. Goodness, I want that house. It*s definately on my Christmas Wish List. It brings back warm memories of a house I lived in in Dedham, Mass. as a child, one Christmas. I don*t recall my parents owning that house for 2 Christmastimes. And back to California we went. Now, Shanathan and I are entering smokey territory, currently owned and taken possession of by the flames.

Family News Update Continued
If the next major quake hits hard enough, we, here, could all very well be without a water supply for 6 months. We must prepare. #I am no longer in a relationship at this time. However, I don*t feel that alone, due to the church. #Shanathan is still peaceful. He was just teaching himself how to type, on an Excel worksheet I provided for him. #I have to work today. I work outside. Hopefully the smoke won*t be too bad. As I understand it, the closest major fire is only 16 miles away, by one of the major hospitals. I have to take Shanathan with me, if the neighbors aren*t home. The kids like to play for hours. It is probably better I take him with me, today of all days. *SD

Close To Home
It*s strange, because our electricity mysteriously went out in the entire building around the time of the breaking news. The manager was not sure if part of our neighborhood went out. Our electricity had come back on. Maybe not so strange. Perhaps it was a rolling black~out. #I lived in Sylmar once. And, I have to travel through Sylmar, I believe, to get to Santa Clarita, via city streets, on Tuesday, for a Farewell to Missionaries. That will be exciting, if I can get there. #For those that do not know, The Terminator, refered to in the previous post below, stands for our Governor. Sayer Fire in Sylmar, California. There were 600 firefighters on the job at that location. That number has jumped to 1500. Fires in Palos Verdes and Porter Ranch as well. The Terminator has declared a state of emergency. *SDRoads, reporting
