Hi everyone.

Well, Shane's surgery was a success!!! Even though the earthquake DID hit when he was in the surgical room! Fortunately, the doctor just finished up a moment before the earth started to take a roller coaster ride. He has the cutest, sweetest walk right now, just like an injured bird, which, by the way, I happened to see in the backyard. What an adorable little sparrow. Shanathan wobbles and limps, sweet little lamb. Soon, he will be back to his natural gate. Well, my moving is all finished, and my vacation starts tomorrow. Say a prayer for the sparrow... and all the children of the world who are facing surgery. By the way, I almost conked out while watching my son be put to sleep as I held his hand and wished him sweet dreams. LoL The anaesthesiologist explained to Shanathan that it smells like strawberries first, then it will smell like stinky sox (that's what the gas smells like.). Well, it was hard enough to watch your kid loose consciousness, but then, when I could smell the gas, too. He said, "Yes, it does seep out, but, it is so diluted it wont do anything." I thought, "Is that why my throat started to hurt, too (He told me that happens while breathing gas.)? I bursted out softly, "Well, I
don't want to fall asleep!!! Haha I stuck it out as long as I could, but, finally I uttered, "I have to leave!" You see, I am prone to anxiety attacks that can lead to panic attacks under extreme circumstances. My son had handled things very well. He was very brave. I had prepped him for the big day. I got some great shots, too. I had done surprisingly well, too, with the anxiety that lead to agoraphobia. I have even been able to take the buses, trains, as well as THE FREEWAY, without incident... and without my Citalopram or Lorazepam (Spell Check please!) Yaay! (I don't know how to spell 'em, I just know they work! Haha) Yep, I think I am almost cured. Thanxx for all of your prayers. More on this later, along with the great shots. Oh yeah, I have been asked for my approval to give the goahead on a project being done for children at the hospital. The new scrapbooks will be going out soon. I felt honored. I offered to buy the book I approved, before the others be donated out. They declined. I guess that was the prototype. If any of y'all have any one in your family facing surgery, tell your story here, in the comments section, immediately below. I will post a separate post for comments on Earthquake damage of our local 5.4 quake, who's number rolled (it went from 5.6 to 5.8 down to 5.4) nearly as fast as we rolled during the quake. LoL And that is my commentary. -SDRoads
