Down Memory Lane...of a different city...
Colorado Springs private investigator who has worked on the JonBenet Ramsey case for almost a decade says he’s asking the district attorney and police to take another look at a one-time suspect who he thinks could be a threat to other girls. Ollie Gray, who initially was hired by the Ramseys and has worked independently on the case for years alongside retired Colorado Springs homicide detective Lou Smit, said Saturday that he believes John Mark Karr has sent a new e-mail indicating he has targeted other girls, that he has killed and will kill again.
Karr, 43, was arrested in Bangkok, Thailand, on Aug. 15, 2006, after he implicated himself in JonBenet’s death. Karr was released about two weeks later after Boulder County District Attorney Mary Lacy announced that his DNA didn’t match evidence from the crime scene. But Gray said he received an e-mail Friday — which marked 12 years since JonBenet’s body was found in the basement of her family’s University Hill home — that he believes was originally sent from Karr to an acquaintance that tells of his lurid plans. “I will kill again,” an excerpt from the message states. “It will not atone for her death but it will honor it.” The message, which Gray said he forwarded to the Boulder County District Attorney’s Office and the Boulder Police Department, was signed by the pseudonym “Daxis.” Police have said Karr used the name in a series of e-mails that led to his arrest two years ago.

Fwd: Last Chance at Midnight
From: "Rose Kapolczynski, Boxer for Senate"
Date: Tue, 21 Apr 2009 20:42:27 GMT
Subject: Last Chance at Midnight
To: SD Roads
Dear SD,
The Boxer campaign is truly amazing. Earlier this month, more than 200 people submitted designs for our 2010 campaign poster contest. And over the past few days, nearly 10,000 people have already cast their votes in an effort to determine the winner.
But now, with just under 12 hours left to go until we close the contest and start tabulating the votes, I want to make sure that everyone's voice is heard.
Invite your friends to cast their votes for Barbara's 2010 campaign poster before tonight's midnight deadline!
Every one of Barbara's campaigns has been powered by grassroots support from friends like you, from her first run for Marin County Supervisor in 1972 to her current campaign for re-election to the U.S. Senate in 2010. And that's how it should be.
That's why this poster will make a difference. It's a visible sign of the strength and creativity of our grassroots supporters.
We can't wait to show off the new campaign poster at this weekend's California Democratic Party convention. Before we do that, though, we need your help one more time to help choose the poster.
When Barbara speaks to the California Democratic Party at the convention later this week, our new campaign poster will be a symbol of your support and the tens of thousands of other supporters.
Thanks so much for your help and active support of our campaign.
Sincerely,
Rose Kapolczynski
Boxer for Senate

Hi everyone!
Friday 17 April 2009
I am still hurting...
By the way...
Some good advice for all... regardless of what you do in life.
From the lab manager and technician at the campus: Finals are coming up in 6 weeks. Budget your time accordingly. ... 'Wow, where did the semester go?', he asked. Tuesday, June the 8th is the day this lab will be closed for summer, he told me. That is tentative. There is a chance it will remain open for just a bit longer. I will enjoy my time here. -SD

Feeling better, though I am still upset over the information in my previous post below.
I just sent a message off for the local Assemblyman. I hope we, the committee, get what we ask for. I also had contacted Dasher Lawless, something I have written of here, before. I was pleasantly surprised to hear the details of his project, very pleasantly surprised. I contacted him, his office, to be fair, though I was originally opposed to his plan of construction... and destruction. I will give you updates on this after each meeting I attend. Something I was told of reminded me of JonBenet and the Pearl Street Mall. How appropriate, since she is one of the people this site is dedicated to. I will watch DollHouse tonight, with a close friend. That should cheer me up, with respect to the tragedy posted below. Have a nice night, y'all. -SD

Are you a supporter of Hillary?
Good question. This year, I won t be voting. I am proud of her. I technically back up all of them but there can only be one President. Each candidate has their own set of strong points. I did vote for Bill when he ran. It*s difficult to not vote for her not that long behind voting for him. Hillary would be my choice. I*ve got the English factor, so I pay my respects to the Queen, as well. *SD
