To Feel
I am crying right now about the great homicide detective, Detective Lou Smit. Even in his last days, he never gave up in trying to solve unsolved murder cases, handing over his personal and case notes and information to other fine detectives. He passed away from cancer recently, just as Patsy Ramsey, the great mother to the wonderful JonBenét, passed away from, that one fateful summer. It was also a summer that changed my life. Well, here's to you, Detective Lou, one beautiful white rose. -SD Roads

The Wonderful World of Chess
My youngest son, Shanathan, came in 3rd place at his elementary school chess tournament! Proud of you, boy!!! His next event is October 1st, for round 1 of the upcoming tournament. His next scheduled appearance is set for October 24th, for the ASY tournament. He is already showing signs of a promising future in this line of extra curricular fun, after only a short time of involvement.
