AMC and ASLA are proud to present a sensory friendly theater experience for the
autism community.

The ASA-AMC Collaboration
AMC will provide the venue and several adaptations. The auditoriums will have their
lights brought up, the sound turned down, and families will be able to bring in
GFCF snacks. Additionally, audience members may get up and walk around, talk, sing,
etc.; in other words, the "Silence is Golden" policy will not be enforced unless
the safety of the audience members is questioned.

I have a guest over. That is to make sure I am breathing okay, and, with incident, rather, in the case of, I would be taken care of, rendering my young son and I secure. It is 8.47 at night, and I am the only one up. I had put on classical music and lit candles for dinner for Shane and my guest. I am glad everyone else in the house is asleep. I did not really want to watch Shawshank Redemption, again, for my guest, after my sweet Shanathan went to sleep. It will a night of classical music and great reading for me. And, maybe, even a Snoopy cartoon to finish off my evening before heading off to the dream place of night. Tomorrow, it is ever so early to rise. I will start with my exercises for the lungs. They are Eastern exercises designed to bring optimal health and well being. East shall meet West. Good night to all. -SD

ATTENTION About all the buzz of late...

To Sweep

Hi y'all. Well, I am out in the backyard gatherin' up all of the multicolored leaves, just like my honorary grandpa. :D Only, I'm a sweepin' while he would be racking. :) I sent him a card about that, once. It was a real beautiful picture, it was. Back to sweepin' for me. I am making a HUGE pile for my boys. That will be a surprise for 'em both. It is church day and we are gonna have us some church! That's right, some Holy Ghost filled, music flowin, beauty showin, Word sowin Church, y'all!!! I am fixin on gettin on up outta this waaarm bed and into the cold for a shower soon. Brrr Church comes early 'round here. ;) At least, for a weekend morn it sure enough does. Ta help, I jist put the heater on. If it's on all night, I get a maigraine. Sinus trouble, I guess. So, my day soon begins. The rains have made the air crisp n clean. Radiation level from Japan elevated but still low. Hey, gotta tell it like it is, despite mass hysteria potentiality. There are ways to calm the people. And God has our backs. Hi everyone.

This Deportation thing...

has really gotten the best of me. Now, though different circumstances, I am living Hope Floats. Let the hope float up. I am at home now. I am sitting propped up with pillows. Easier to breath that way. Feeling like the Elephant Man. I am finally in bed after watchin' Hope Floats on the couch with my friend. He is helping me get through this. He visits a lot. But I just can't seem to stop cryin on and off. It is makin my lung feel worse. The deportation ripped somethin out of me. So, back in bed, after letting the mosquito out into the chilled night air, only with a little less proping up. Wrist band from the hospital still on. White. EKG hook ups still stuck to me. Slid down into the pillows a bit. Eyes wide open, yet half closed from congestion and crying. I can not believe any of this. Surreal. Too slippery. Like being a ghost. This is so hard. But hOpE lives. And God is good. -Shannon

To Breath

The breathing problems I had for the last three weeks proved to be too much this evening. I walked to the hospital and about half way there, I stopped at a Catholic church. A nice woman gave me a ride the rest of the way and she and the lady with her prayed for me the entire way there in the vehicle. Their hands up in the air, less one for the driver kept one on the wheek. I held the hand of the passenger, a stranger yet not in Christ from the back seat. She did not expect it but let me and held lovingly. Earlier in the evening, at about 7.30 pm, I was at a prayer meeting at my church. I told them I think I better go and the husband and wife prayed for me and the wife annointed me with oil and her husband told me to claim the healing and thank Jesus. Allehluia Good things are coming. Yay, good things are here. Blessed be the Lord! -Me
