To Wait

The wait is still continuing. Is it kidney stones, as one doctor
thought it may be? However, he said we will wait for the ultrasound
that had already been ordered by another doctor. Now, that doctor that
ordered the ultrasound is looking for signs of cancer, particularly
ovarian cancer, along with cysts of varying type, as I understand. I
finally got the ultrasound taken care of. This, after I waited good
and long. The first authorization was lost, or something happened.
Well, I finally got it in the mail. That was a happy day. On Friday, I
had the ultrasound. I made a wonderful new friend while there, and my
good friend, Tina, came with me, for emotional support. Thanxx 'Tine.
Rough time. So, another friend of mine, from Atlanta, told me that it
won*t happen that fast. James said that the techs can*t tell me what
they find. That only the doctor can tell me. That proved true. And
that won*t happen until Tuesday! So, I am told. I wish that I could
have known on Friday. But, all in good time. It is like my old friend,
Terry, put it, that waiting is half the battle. Yeah, the waiting.
