To Put It In Words

... of Shanathan. We are at the dentist right now. We are here for his check up and, hopefully, time permitting, a cleaning. (Yeah, right.) He is sooo brave. He is my little soldier. I asked him if he will be brave for me tomorrow, when I have my dental (nightmare) visit. He said, "Uh huh." He then proceeded to lie back in the dental chair, put his hands behind his head, breathed a relaxing sigh, and stated, "I don*t have to be afraid." When I asked him why, he answered, "Because everything is relaxing and comfy." Wow! Out of the mouths of babes. And tomorrow, it will out of the mouth of momma! Two extractions. Ouch! My youngest also had said it was peaceful here. For me, not so much. LoL *SDRoads

UPDATE: Oh, I had forgotten to mention one thing. When I asked Shanathan why he doesn't have to be afraid, he also answered, "Because I won't die." Aaaww. Though I do know that some have died, and will die from dental, wait, I don't want to speak that into existence, some could die from dental procedures, those words of Shanathan will be a comfort to me on this day. I go in for "treatment" today. Aye yi yi. -SD Updated on June 11th, 2009, at 9:35 a.m.
