Hello. Here is our traditional Happy New Year's Eve Eve.

Been sick all day. Chest and back pain, swelling, and burning, with sharp shooting, radiating pains on and off. And, yes, that last bit was redundant... just like the pains. Ouch! My friend, Tina, stayed with me the whole day. That was sweet of her. She was worried about me. I could barely talk at times, and had a little trouble breathing once in a while. It was scary for her, but she stayed with me, followed me room to room as I did my housework, offering me assistance of any kind she could. She even watched me bounce back to better health on my last bit of chores. We had a nice dinner, her, Shane and I, that I cooked of steak with spaghetti, green beans, and Italian bread with sauce. It was so sweet when my youngest son bolted out with, "Ooh! My mom's spaghetti is the best!" That made me smile. This evening, we had a bible study at my house, put on by the church. Shanathan did a great job on the closing prayer. That made me smile and feel proud. I hi5d him. Nice evening. Tired now. Sweet dreams, y'all. -SD

It is interesting...

how my serious chest pain lessened greatly when I heard those words about my girl, when I was also told things that lead to hope, and told help will come my way in getting justice for my JillianJon... and many other children. My miracle came in the form of a 22 year old young woman... who is only 3 years older than what JonBenet would have been today. God Bless you K, and God Bless JillianJon!! -SDRoads P.S. the words spoken to me tonight, by the gal who delivered the miracle to me, unbeknownst to her. I only wish I could remember those words verbatim, but I, surprisingly, can not. The words went something like this: Oh, she was loved. Everyone just loved her. - Yes, my Jillian is a little ray of sunshine. A real light and joy to the world. I also will never forget what else she said. That was, &quot;Yeah, I didn&#39;t want to scare you, but that&#39;s what it was about. She had blue eyes and blond hair, and people want that.&quot; She also later stated how Shanathan looks like JillianJon. The lioness in me roars inside. I will protect all my children. So, thank you new friend from the bus stop tonight who knew my Jill. I remember you, too. Do you remember Jill&#39;s birthday party? Thanxx for remembering me and Jill and thinking of us over these last 7 or 8 years. It is so appreciated. -SD

A Miracle On Victory Street

A miracle happened to me and my Shanathan tonight. A true miracle in its purest form, for my daughter, JillianJon. Will she come home, after (an alleged) kidnapping (that can be proved)? Is she alive? Is she safe? Will justice be served for her, and our family? Time will tell. God is in on this one. Those organized mean and selfish people who did this to our family will be exposed... in time, with the help of God. 13 Years After JonBenet Ramsey Murder, Col. Springs Investigator Still Working on Case

"COLORADO SPRINGS- JonBenet Ramsey would've been 19 years old this Christmas. The 6-year-old Boulder beauty queen was brutally murdered in her home on Christmas night 1996, and a killer has never been caught. While some may see this as a cold case, retired investigator Lou Smit refuses to give up.

"I just feel that some day by some effort, the case will be solved," Smit told us tonight at his Colorado Springs home. "Somebody knows something."

Smit has worked on the JonBenet case from the beginning. Back in 1996 he was hired by the Boulder district attorneys office to help investigate. Smit has been one of few who's always maintained John and Patsy Ramsey had nothing to do with their daughter's death.

This week John Ramsey released a statement urging the public to speak out with any information.

"We are hoping to jog memories and in doing so, asking everyone to examine their consciences," Ramsey said in a statement.

Smit says sometimes even the vaguest tip can catch a murderer.

"If this killer is still out there people can come forward and it may save another child," he says.

For now he's re-visiting and re-organizing his many notes on the case, hoping to find something to submit to police.

"I don't think anybody should forget about this little girl. Period," he says.

It's an investigation Smit literally holds close to his heart. Thirteen years ago he and the D.A. found a two shiny pennies in front of the Ramsey's home. They made them into necklaces, Smit says he'll keep wearing it until the killer is caught.

"I've always worn this necklace, and perhaps someday I'll be able to take it off," he says."

Being somewhat close to Santa, as a helper of his, I get breaking news fast. And this makes for one very happy amateur reporter, me. A good source tells me that Mr. Claus is now dining on a delicious and hearty meal prepared by Mrs. Claus. Santa is dining with his wife, his elves, and his 9 reindeer in the dining chambers. The deer have a separate table, of course. Santa and his reindeer need that extra hearty meal for strength for tonight's journey. I, myself, have just finished preparing and, then, polished off a hearty meal, too, with my little helper. ;) -SDRoads, reporting

Ho ho ho! How is everyone today? The Christmas party my friend and I threw, last night, went well. I wore my candy cane heart shirt. I have been waiting all year to wear that. It is among my favorites. I also wore my Christmas apron... the entire time. LoL I just love that apron. I love both my aprons. You will often find me in one of them. Love is a strong word, here. haha I mean, I love Jesus! The lady who threw the party with me, Laura, will be in Tulsa for Christmas and the New Year. So, I decided to ask everyone to join in and share their New Year resolutions. Some did not know, they would say with a near shy smile. I know mine, I write with a near proud smile. It was fun to do, especially since Laura won't be with her husband during her trip to Tulsa. So, they are having their Christmas today. That is why we threw the Christmas party last night instead of tonight. I sure do hope they remember to celebrate the birth of Jesus. I also made them kiss under the mistletoe. No banging of pots and pans, though. haha Gotta jett. We are fixin on preparing to track Santa in his wondrous journey tonight. Join us here for all the newsworthy updates in Santa's trip. ATLANTA, GA Dec. 23 -- The Fair Justice Foundation (www.fairjusticefoundation.org) today released a list of behaviors and potential scenarios which may have been noticed about the person who killed JonBenét Ramsey, around the time of the murder. Six year old JonBenét Ramsey was found murdered in the basement of her home on December 26, 1996. After thirteen years the case remains unsolved.

In issuing the public plea, John Ramsey, JonBenét ’s father said, “We are hoping to jog memories and in doing so, asking everyone to examine their consciences.” He continued, “We’d like them to share any doubts or information they have about someone they know who may have behaved strangely or acted out of character around the time of my daughter’s murder.”

THE PHOTO OF HEATHER INCLUDES THE HEART THAT I WAS SEARCHING FOR, MENTIONED ABOVE, THAT I JUST FOUND ON A FLUKE. I don't even think it is the same heart, but the pic includes another girl I was originally looking up, about 6 years ago, for I heard, sadly, she died. I grew up viewing that child on t.v. So, it was very sad to see she had died at the hands of murder, by her father, as I recall. I saw her, and her story, then clicked on links to Heather. When I went back online later, I Googled child actress murdered and it brought me to JonBenet. And that is how this whole thing got started. My heart went out to the families. Snoopy Is Coming To Town

Join Snoopy and the whole Peanuts Gang this Tuesday for special family viewing. A Charlie Brown Christmas airs December 15th, at 8 p.m., 7 central, on channel 7, home of ABC. Our family missed a couple of the traditional Christmas cartoons ABC had aired recently. I am determined that we will not miss out this week. Approaching Anniversary

Hello,
We know that somewhere, someone holds information about what happened to JonBenet when her life was taken in 1996. Someone, somewhere knows the truth about who, how and why this happened. A special message has been designed by the Fair Justice Foundation for an individual who knows the story of how or why JonBenet became the target for murder. The message might have meaning for someone that was told about the events of that fateful night by a relative, work colleague, friend, neighbor or even a passing acquaintance. We need to relay this message to the right person; someone that knows something.
Until the owner of the unique identifiers left at the crime scene is discovered, while such a loss of life may never be reconciled, the unending nightmare for JonBenet’s family remains underscored by the acute understanding other innocents are similarly at risk.
The aim is to share this video message until it reaches that special person holding a critical piece of information about what happened to JonBenet.

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

We now have a new City Councilmember. Congratulations to Paul Krekorian.

Here are the unofficial results from last night. The figures may change slightly when the City Clerk certifies the vote.

Christine Essel - Votes: 8,304 - Percent: 43.44%
Paul Krekorian - Votes: 10,810 - Percent: 56.56%

Summary of ballots cast:

Total at poll ballots: 8,182 - Percent: 42.68%
Total vote-by-mail ballots: 10,988 - Percent: 57.32%
Grand total of ballots cast: 19,170

Contrary to predictions, more voted in this run-off election than in the primary/special election in September.

I don't know when Paul Krekorian will be sworn in but hopefully before the end of the year. Six months without representation on City Council has been a challenge for us.

Sd Roads I figured out a bypass, so I can get on 2 some sites on my new cell. I fell asleep just B4 attempting 2 login 2 facebook @ around midnight. I was listening 2 KRLA, after the party Krekorian threw, as we waited 2 C who won in last night's election voter count. Someone was nice enough 2 call me, too. See Morebedtime, so, I did not stay for the victory party. But, I am there in spirit. And listening to 870 am over hot chocolate keeps me in the know about this historic event. I am glad to be a part of it. He won 57 to 43. The turnout was only 15 percent of the entire voter sect. -SD --- KRLA is a great radio station, by the way. You should check it out. -Shan
