Local Accidental Death

Young girl dies at the hands of her toddler brother and herself, of brunt force trauma, and suffocation(?), in front loading washing machine. Mother discovered the accident, but had trouble opening the self-locking machine. She rushed her daughter to the hospital, but the child was d.o.a. The "on" button was approximately only 20 inches from the floor, located in the front. It appears these front loaders are quite dangerous. If you are planning on buying a new washer and dryer, or even used, for that matter, think about that before purchasing a washer if you have kids, please. *SDRoads, reporting
