First Order of Business

The first thing I am going to report, regarding the President*s speech, is something I regret to report. Four men serving in Iran were killed today, serving our country, serving us, serving people across the world. I salute you. Our hearts are with those four and their friends and families. The rest I will report in increments, for life kicks in, I have things to do, and I can*t let technology slow me down. Some will be in commentary form. If you missed it, I am sure the speech by the President will be available for repeat, via Internet and t.v. As for us, my family member that met with tragedy late last night, quite early this morning, is not as bad off as first reported to me. However, I have not heard from this individual, nor can this individual be reached at this time. There are at least four of us reaching out. This whole thing has disrupted my whole day, and brought a heavy heart, sadness, and worry. Interestingly enough, the entire fiasco could have been avoided, if only both gentle and strong advice were utilized over the last month. Further, the fiasco created a domino effect. As I listened to our President speak a bit ago (for those of us in America whom are citizens, though I think the perpetual world was listening on), I diligently text typed a report. It was after when it dawned on me, that what America faces collectively, those issues can also hit us directly and on a more personal level. It is like equal ratios with different numbers. I like Obama*s approach. I must emulate that, and carry it into my own life. He is a no nonsense man, with a strong sense of ethics. As he stated in his speech, he wants to start a trend that he would like for all us to follow suit. Obama, I think, will serve our country well. He is long suffering and hard working. Many a great candidate ran for this past Presidential Election. Many of whom could have done a brilliant job. But, one had to win. I find Obama can bring strength to those whose strength are waning. Long live the President! And that is my commentary... and salute. Now, I must go tend to my possibly stress related and simultaneously asthma and pleurisy attacks. Again, I must become even more no nonsense than I already am, and not allow chaos into my life, even through the domino effect. These things CAN be thwarted. In the words of President Obama, and Bob the Builder, giggle, "Yes we can!!" *SDRoads
