At least I read a sentence or two.

And how informative that was, seriously. I again feel compelled, this time to write this post. Oh, apparently, it*s Mardi Gras. Did I spell that right? Well, Happy however~to~spell~ that Day! I like to touch on all holidays, here. Also, this Sunday is another SNOW DAY at Santa Anita Park. Again, there will be a carnival like essense there, complete with face painting as well as ice skating. Feeling lucky on the ponies? Go down there and I~hate~the~expression kill 2 birds with one stone. Have extra fun with the family as you place your bets. Is that legal? For me to suggest gambling? Haha Jk Details on SNOW DAY, later. Interesting timing, that SNOW DAY, after my post here of how our snow capped mountains melted. The snow did, anyway. LoL And the beautiful mountains of Colorado were just on t.v., in a Nature Valley Granola Bar commercial. I grew up on those things. Yep, my parents hardly ever bought the Hostess Cupcakes and Twinkies, as most of the other parents did. At the time, I must admit, I felt a little deprived. But, now that I am grown, with little ones of my own, I DO THE VERY SAME THING! :) Yep, the dreaded hard granola bars are what I buy. And, the same flavor, at that! LoL I actually think they taste good these days! And me sun, I mean son, yes, my little ball of sunshine, adorably thinks they are candy bars because of the pretty and shiney metallic wrappers. He coyly asked me one day, "Mommy, may I have a candy bar?", thinking he was going to get away with something. You see, he already had candy that day. I asked, "What candy, honey?". He went to the cabinet, pulled out a granola bar, and said, "This one." I said, "Yes, baby, you can have one.", and just winked at my friend that was visiting. To switch notes: Hey, guess what! I think my new medicine is working. YaaY! But the key phrase is, "I think". Excuse me while I switch thumbs. Text typing on this thing hurts after a while. LapTop, here I come. I will rescue you from the store, in all your pink splendor. Splendor. Reminds me of Splenda. (Add tie in details here. LoL) I have been reading and studying technical health and nutrition books lately. Stay away from artificial sweetners. They are like poison. And one of the horror stories I read about happened to one of my West Coast cousins. Well, I had more to write, and more points to make, but, I*m beginning to doze off. Better set the alarm, fast. Good night all. *SD
