Something alarming.

It is interesting. I have been thinking of something on and off for awhile. The last couple of days I have really been thinking of it hard, investing time in it, and getting stressed over it, as well. Stressed almost to the point of depression in this time of possible national recession. Today, I noticed an add on here. I will write what it says because they revolve and you may not see it. It reads "Our Next President Whether it be Obama or McCain Threatens your Wealth. Free Report". It is an add by Google. This is so alarming. The one thing I need to find out is what each candidate feels about government assistance programs along with grants, but have not had the time to do it. Since I was elected on Monday, I will have to find the time. This information can prove most important. I have been elected as Assistant to the Secretary, or Assistant Secretary, for C.E.A.C. Now that is the council that reigns over Title I which deals with supplemental monies from the government to improve the progress of students who are struggling. It is considered a committee, as well, so that means I must be committed to attend a meeting every month, or at least, as one woman said, "try your best" to. I would have loved to have run for the title of officer that attends district meetings, but, I simply do not have the time, nor, adequate transportation, for that, at this time, and therefore, could not commit to that, or anything of that nature. I am an official member, but everyone, "has a voice". I want to pull this out further and reach out to numbers of people to help raise awareness to the general public with respect to all schools and the potential budget cuts, and the need for fundraising. As it was said in one of the meetings I have attended, "Somethings take a lot of parents." I want to extend that to somethings take a lot of people, and try to, as I wrote, at least raise the awareness here, through this site. And this will be to the benefit of students of all ages. There are some stifling budget cuts on the political horizon, and we must do all that we can to avoid that from happening. As one woman said, we all have a voice. I was told they need me on the PTA. I am considering joining. I think it is very important subject matter. This not only benefits students, and their educational futures, but, it also benefits the whole nation, for students are tomorrow's future for our great nation. I thank you for your time. -SDRoads, Administrator

One last thing here. I was very fortunate. I was running against a woman whom is outspoken and she can translate as well! I am grateful to God that I won the title. I will do my best. -SD
