The Yelp!
When watching that video again of the Lakeland beating, I noticed something. I heard what sounded like a yelp at the moment of impact of one of the many hits Victoria took that day. The hits that occurred in the same room as the all too precious China in the China cabinet. One of the teens was even more concerned with getting into trouble for possibly hurting the frickin China than a human being! The whole event seemed so surreal. That yelp, the one that sounded like it came from a wounded puppy at the time of attack, or accident, it got me, right in my heart. I thought again of my child and how I would feel if that ever happened to him. My heart again went out to precious Victoria, as if I was her mom. That sound, that yelp, sounded like more than just a instantaneous, uncontrollable grunt, more than a cry for help, but also, a sheer sadness that someone, her friend, friends, would ever do this to her. And that is my commentary. -SDRoads
