For Me, As A Writer...

Last Wednesday, the day before the Thanksgiving Holidays, while at the committee meeting I am a member of, C.E.A.C., a guest speaker came to speak with us about writing and how to help our children to write. I stopped taking notes, as I have to, due to the fact I am the Assistant Secretary. The Secretary is new, and needed my assistance. I like to take notes, I don't mind, but at this particular time, I enjoyed stopping what I was doing in order to participate in the given writing activity by our guest speaker. This is what I wrote:

For me, as a writer, writing is a form of expression. It is a beautiful way to communicate, why, just about anything, no, most definitely, anything and everything. One can write about any given topic, and here, in America, we are blessed to have the freedom to write, as well as read, about anything in, or out of, for that matter, this world. Such topics one can express include, but are not limited to, feelings ,the news, the future, poetry, etc. How wonderful that is! I love writing for my news center that I created. Writing is a form of freedom. I will teach my children how to utilize and enjoy that given freedom to the best of their abilities. Thank you, SDRoads
